A total of 16 walkers and 31 runners took part in the Dursley Stott Autumn Handicap Races held on the NSC perimeter roadway on Thursday 12 October 2017.

The wind got a bit blustery towards the latter stages of the run but the rain just about held off.

Prizes were awarded to the first three over the line in the 5K walk and in the 10K run.

Fastest man in the 10K run was Jamie Newton in 35mins16secs and fastest lady Helen Taylor in 45mins31secs.

Fastest man in the 5K walk was Gianni Epifani in 22mins55secs, and fastest lady Bernie Johnson in 29mins46secs.

Many thanks to the Sponsor (Dursley Stott), time-keeper, lap-counters, marshals etc etc without whom the races could not go ahead.

Two photos (below)– one of the prize winners/spot prize winners and one of Robbie Lambie looking far too pleased with himself. He’d obviously been enjoying the post-race refreshments!

Unfortunately all the walkers had gone home before the Presentation so no photos of them.
